Celebrating 25 years, the Benicia Certified Farmers Market opens on Thursday, April 27th from 4-8pm (April-August) and 4-7pm (September-October). Located on First Street between B and D Streets, the seasonal market will run through October 26th, offering farm fresh produce and fresh cut flowers along with arts and crafts vendors, specialty foods, baked goods, and numerous gourmet food vendors. Children can enjoy activities like face painting and the inflatable bounce house on the First Street Green.

Flood Awareness
Use our link to Local Tide (right column) for high tide and potential flood times. Flooding during high tide is a possibility during these recent upcoming storms. We have also provided a link which shows the nearest location for sand bags (first come first serve), get them while they last. For other locations you may contact the Public Works Department. Signup for Benicia’s Public Emergency Alert Program and receive critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods.
