In Our Community

Our community offers amenities such as a marina, a walk and bike path, a city park, a yacht club with restaurant and bar and the wetlands with plenty of viewing areas of different wildlife such as egrets, ducks, loons, cormorants, seagulls and pelicans, as well as an occasional visit from otters and sea lions. If you own a boat you can dock it in view of your home. Our HOA offers an open door to residents who may attend bi-monthly board meetings at the yacht club. Our association also provides this website to keep all of the residents informed and connected. Portside Village, truly is a nice place to live and is conveniently located just a couple of blocks from historic downtown Benicia, where there are plenty of shops, salons, restaurants, nightclubs and more…

Near Our Community

If you’ve lived in Benicia for any length of time, you should be aware that Benicia is a town that likes to celebrate. There’s always some event taking place in the center of town, whether it’s a parade, farmers market, festival or charity event. It’s quite a common occurrence to see First Street lined with spectators or vendors. In 1987 Benicia was selected to participate in the California Main Street Program.

On First Street you’ll find antique stores, novelty stores, bike shops, music stores, jewelry stores, hair and nail salons, massage salons, bars, taverns and restaurants. Other businesses include realtor offices, banks, loan companies, a theater, a church and historic buildings including what was once the capitol of California for thirteen months in 1953 and 1954.
